About Downtown
The compressed center of historic Telluride — Colorado Avenue running east-west, the gondola plaza at the foot of Oak Street, and a half-mile of restaurants, galleries, and the original 1891 New Sheridan Hotel. Downtown homes put you in the middle of it.
These are the residences guests pick when they want to walk to dinner, walk to the gondola, walk to the Friday farmers market, and never get in a car. The trade-off is a quieter downtown core in winter (locals slip away to Mountain Village for ski mornings) — but the festival weekends are unmatched.
Homes here tend to be smaller-footprint, more historically intact, and the quickest to sell out for Bluegrass and Film Festival. Book early.
