About the firm · Est. 2026
Bridal Veil Lodging is a small property management firm for a small number of homes. We are not trying to be the biggest in Telluride. We are trying to be the firm our neighbors would actually hire.
Origin
Why we started.
We watched Telluride homes — remarkable, architecturally specific homes — be managed by firms that had never walked them. The owners paid standard fees for standardized service, and the homes were treated like rental units.
So we started this firm to be the management company our neighbors would actually hire. Nell grew up in Ophir. August came over the pass from Dunton. We know every one of these homes by its quirks — where the third bedroom runs warm, where the front porch lets in drifted snow, where the primary bath gets sun in February. This information matters.
We cap the portfolio at fifteen. We answer the phone. We walk every house before every arrival. The math on that is not generous. The reviews are.
Values
Four principles. Four sentences.
- 01
Hospitality as craft
We treat a stay the way a good host treats a dinner guest. Attentively, without hovering.
- 02
Local is not a marketing phrase
Every person who works on your home lives inside this valley. We know where the keys are because we live here.
- 03
Transparency as pricing
No surge, no hidden fees, no dynamic magic. What the rate card says is what the rate is.
- 04
Owner-first, guest-second
Every decision is evaluated against the homeowner's interest. We don't overbook; we don't over-promise. If it isn't right for the house, it isn't right for us.
The team
Four people.
The whole team lives within twenty minutes of every home we manage. There is no call center, no offshore concierge. When you reach us, you reach one of us.
