The Good Gargoyle is a penthouse studio where luxury meets history. Set inside a beautifully renovated historic building on Colorado Avenue, it sits right in the heart of downtown Telluride — shops, restaurants, and the gondola all within an easy walk.

The space is thoughtfully appointed, with large windows that pull in light and mountain views and a steam shower to unwind in after a day outside. It sleeps two, and suits a couple who want to be in the middle of everything the town has to offer.

    Location, location, location! We paid a premium price for this condo during the highly popular Telluride Bluegrass Festival and the easy walk to Town Park, available designated parking, and great location for restaurants and shopping made it worth the price. The condo had everything we needed including a comfortable bed and fully stocked kitchen. There are some things to consider but most are clearly outlined in the description - you will need to be good with stairs, some street noise when you’re sleeping with open windows (it was minor), the hot water takes a minute to get to the shower but then it’s all good, there is a washer but you’ll be drying clothes on a rack (this doesn’t take long in the dry high altitude air). The hosts are very responsive regarding anything you might need. We would stay again!

    Great place! Looked just like photos! The best location, right on the Main Street with great views overlooking the mountains. Place was clean and had everything we needed and more. Even though there are restaurants and bars around it was very quiet and we slept with no problem. Steam shower was our favorite part! Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

    This studio was perfect for us. Updated and chic and right smack dab in the middle of everything! Great restaurants are literally across the street. Lots of little extras this fully stocked studio is a gem. I knew from reading the reviews that there is a bar below us, but it was quiet during the week and the two busier nights we were there it was nothing we didn’t expect and had no problem sleeping at all. Thanks to our hosts for sharing this space.
