We have eaten at every restaurant in town, usually twice. Here is what to order, in order.
For a two-night stay, the first dinner is the more important one. It should be a room you remember before a meal you remember.
The rank order, by our reckoning: 221 South Oak (warm, unhurried, the best plate of pasta in the valley). Allred's (for the view and one drink before). Rustico (the only room in town that feels like a real trattoria).
For breakfast, Baked in Telluride. Always. Order the green chili on the second morning, not the first.
