Rather than a traditional single vacation home, Slippery Rock is arranged as a private mountain compound, with individual accommodations connected to the central lodge by pathways winding through the property.

At the heart of the ranch is the Main Lodge, the natural gathering place for the group. Folding glass doors open the lodge toward the river and surrounding landscape, while inside, a chef's kitchen with premium appliances provides plenty of room for everything from casual breakfasts to elaborate family dinners. A large dining area, game room, and loft create space to gather throughout the day, while the heated covered deck extends the living space outdoors. Sleeping accommodations are spread among the ranch's private cabins and tents, giving guests the unusual combination of shared gathering spaces and private places to retreat at the end of the night.

The cabins are thoughtfully appointed with comfortable bedding, private bathrooms, gas fireplaces, and their own coffee stations. One larger cabin accommodates four guests with a queen bed and two twins, while two seasonal riverside glamping tents offer another unique place to lounge, read, meditate, or spend time beside the Dolores. Together, the accommodations sleep up to 12 guests while still allowing couples and families a sense of privacy that is difficult to find in a traditional large vacation home.
