Downtown is part of the Town of Telluride, with Colorado Avenue, restaurants and the Oak Street gondola station shaping many visitors’ plans. Use the home’s published location and your own itinerary to judge proximity rather than relying on a single walking time for the whole area.

A stay here can put dining and time in town at the center of the trip. Allred’s is at San Sophia on the mountain; plan to take the gondola there rather than expecting a walk through downtown.

For a festival, check the official event venues and schedule before choosing your home. Compare the route to the events you plan to attend and the return journey at the end of the evening.

If you intend to skip the car, ask about the complete route from your home to the gondola, supplies and activities. Steps, luggage and ski equipment can change what feels like a convenient journey.

For a hiking day, the Bear Creek trail begins at the end of South Pine Street. Check current trail conditions and choose an outing that suits your group.
